Wideband o2 sensor fitment and controller checks

Purpose
Compare wideband sensor documents against controller wiring before approving a substitute.

Fitment Guide decision points

Requirement and confirmation ledger
Decision point Buyer / supplier question
Vehicle identity Provide model year, make, model, engine code and relevant application notes. Photograph the installed boss and harness end rather than describing color only.
Reference cross-check Use OE or supplier reference as an inquiry input, not proof of authorization. Ask which drawing revision and controller compatibility statement belong to the quoted wideband o2 sensor.
Interface check Confirm position, thread size, connector pin count, wire length and included pieces. Heater circuit and controller input type stay separate lines when a kit is proposed.
Alternative review Ask the supplier to explain differences before approving substitutions. A thread match alone does not establish electrical or application compatibility of the proposed sensor.

Limitations remain: we cannot measure boss depth on your vehicle, we do not promise interchange, and we do not store physical samples. A matching thread size does not establish heater circuit compatibility or controller calibration for a wideband o2 sensor. Follow-up files can be described in the form and sent after contact.

When comparing substitutes, ask for sample approval identifiers, batch traceability marks and a written exception list against connector pin count and wire overall length. Keep OE reference as an inquiry input only. See the thread size review when the mating interface is the open item, and the position checklist when bank labels disagree.
